McLaren M20 Can-Am 1973 Carling Black Label by Marsh Models
McLaren M20 Riverside 1973 Carling
Kit available MM269
David Hobbs and his McLaren M20 were the fastest non-Porsche combination at Riverside, starting fifth with two of the German machines behind him, but his race was short lived with a cracked cylinder head and subsequent overheating forcing retirement after just three laps. The Roy Woods Racing entry was a good looking car while it lasted, the red and black livery even extending to the intake trumpets which have been very neatly finished with red throats on the model. Typical of this range, the paint finish is a deep gloss, the decals are carefully placed and there’s plenty of subtle detailing. A very attractive model.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
