McLaren M20 Can-Am 1973 #73 Carling Black Label by Marsh Models
McLaren M20 Can-Am 1973 Carling
Hand built available MM269M
David Hobbs and his McLaren M20 were the fastest non-Porsche combination at Riverside, starting fifth with two of the German machines behind him, but his race was short lived with a cracked cylinder head and subsequent overheating forcing retirement after just three laps. The Roy Woods Racing entry was a good looking car while it lasted, the red and black livery even extending to the intake trumpets which will need painting red internally and satin black on the outside. The livery includes very fine red pinstripes and two sets of these are included to allow a little room for error. Decoration aside the kit is typical Marsh, with excellent resin castings for the body and larger parts, clean white metal and plenty of etch including a fold up cockpit tub.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
