Mirage M1 Norisring 1969 #6 Guthrie by Marsh Models
Alternative version MM268M3 Kyalami & MM268 kit
The only Mirage to remain in its original form, M10001 was only used by the factory at Kyalami in 1968, where it was bought post-race by Malcolm Guthrie who repainted it in his very smart dark metallic grey and burgundy colours. That livery is beautifully replicated on these hand builts, a deep lacquer covering paint and decals. This isn’t strictly authentic but does make for a very good looking model. Where necessary decals have been neatly cut into panel lines and on the Kyalami version we see the headlamps taped over. Very attractive models of a rarely seen subject.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
