Osca MT4 Le Mans 1954 #43 by Spark
Alternative version SPK4736 #42
The two 1500cc OSCAs looked set for a 1-2 class finish with two hours remaining of the race, but treacherous weather saw several accidents and both were eliminated. The two cars were quite different in the cockpit and windscreen arrangement, this car having a hard tonneau over the passenger area and a small streamlined fairing and screen ahead of the driver, while the sister machine had a more conventional full width screen. The shape is neatly sculpted, the decals well placed and small details such as bonnet straps and the wire wheels are finely made.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
