By the end of the 1977 Le Mans race this Porsche was looking very second hand thanks to two excursions into the scenery. The team kept it going though and eventually it was classified third in class. Spark’s model depicts the car in immaculate race start condition and the bright red x-ray colour scheme is neatly printed and applied over an excellent black paint finish to make a smart looking model.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
