Lotus Cortina Mk2 Crayford Convertible White by Oxford
Crayford launched their convertible version of the Mk2 Cortina at the
same time that Ford launched the production saloon, the first drop top
being based on a pre-production car. Approximately 400 were built and the most desirable of these were the 40 or so Lotus conversions produced. Oxford's model is very well finished in the familiar colours of white with green trim. An absolute bargain.

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
