Cord E1 Limousine 1932 Blue by Matrix
Originally intended as a prototype for a new series to replace the popular L-29, this huge Limousine remained a one off and was used by E.L. Cord as personal transport. With a chassis 20 inches (approx 50cm) longer than its predecessor and a significant price tag, it was sadly the wrong car for the times. The real thing has survived though and Matrix's impressive miniature replicates the car well with the fine standard of finish to which we've become accustomed.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
