Chevrolet Corvette GTP 1st West Palm Beach 3hrs 1986 #52 Goodwrench by Marsh Models
For their 1984 GTP contender, GM turned tp Lola for their chassis design expertise and built their cars around modified production power units. The most successful chassis was HU1 in 1986, the V8-powered machine taking victories at Road Atlanta and Palm Beach in the hands of Doc Bundy and Sarel van der Merwe, and it is the second of those victories that we see depicted here. We can always rely on Marsh Models for a high standard of finish and the hand built model is very smart indeed with excellent paint and plenty of fine detailing.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
