Austin Princess 2200 HLS 1979 Metallic Brown 1:18 by Cult Scale Models
When launched in 1975, British Leyland decided that their new executive saloon should be marketed (domestically at least) as a stand alone mark, although most of us erroneously think of the Princess as an Austin! It was a distinctive machine and with smooth Hydragas suspension and a very spacious interior, should have been more successful than it was, but build quality and industrial disputes didn't help and they are rare machines today. Cult have captured the crisp lines of Harris Mann's design very well and the overall finish is to a good standard making for an attractive kerbside model in a choice of metallic finishes.

About Cult Scale Models
Well-proportioned 1:18 resincast models with some interesting subject choices, many of which have a distinctly Anglophile flavour! Paint finishes are excellent, the smaller parts fit well but occasionally the trim detailing could be better. Made in China for The Netherlands.
