Daimler SP250 Dart 1959-1964 Green 1:18 by Cult Scale Models
Originally launched as the Dart but renamed the SP250 following a threat of legal action by Dodge, who owned the Dart name, Daimler's little two seat sportscar sadly didn't enjoy the success it maybe deserved. The styling of the fibreglass bodywork was a little too distinctive for many and the early cars had issues with chassis flex, which tainted the reputation of the car and production after 5 years was only 2654 examples, way short of the intended 3000 per year. Maybe because of this history, the car has become an enduring classic and Cult's beautifully finished resincast models capture the shapes and details very well indeed.

About Cult Scale Models
Well-proportioned 1:18 resincast models with some interesting subject choices, many of which have a distinctly Anglophile flavour! Paint finishes are excellent, the smaller parts fit well but occasionally the trim detailing could be better. Made in China for The Netherlands.
