Talbot Sunbeam Lotus RAC 1980 #13 Brookes Conversion Set by Arena
The yellow livery of Andrews Heat For Hire represented one of the most successful and long lasting sponsorship deals for a private entrant in the history of motorsport and according to the company themselves, it helped their turnover improve by four thousand percent over the thirteen year period it was in place. These two decal sheets are intended for use on diecasts but could also be put to use on kits (Mini Racing for the Sunbeam and Racing 43 for the Delta). Both sheets include the coloured stripes to go around the lower sections of the cars, along with all the logos obviously, and on the Sunbeam we are also provided with white sections for the roof. Good, colourful pieces of rally history and the Delta is certainly one that we don't remember having been modelled before, at least not for kit builders.

Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
