MG PB Cycle wing version by K & R Replicas
MG’s P Type Midget was released in 1934 as a replacement for the very successful J Type and was fairly popular with a wide variety of bodies. Here we see the car with the basic two-seat roadster coachwork and cycle wings, though four seaters and even coupes were available. By mid-1935 it had become apparent that the car was underpowered when compared with some of the opposition and so the engine was enlarged and the PB was born. Both kits look to be near identical and, apart from a very small amount of soft flash, the castings will need minimal clean up, the wheels are kit form wires with etched spokes and get these right and you’ll have a pretty model.

About K & R Replicas
Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
