Ford GT40 1st Le Mans 1969 #6 Ickx/Oliver 1:18 by Spark
Another very well finished model in Spark’s ever growing range of 1:18 Le Mans winners. Obviously it is very similar to the 1968 winner that we saw a couple of months ago (SPK18LM068) as it’s the same car, but the subtle changes have all been accurately made. The colours look spot on, there’s plenty of detail visible in the cockpit and the decal placement checks out well with race photos.

The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
