VBM Peugeot 4000 GTC Le Mans Test 1996 #84 Loca Service by Renaissance
The VBM was a french built GT car which passed more than a vague resemblance to the Ford GT40 in terms of styling and was entered for Le Mans in 1996, though it didn’t get beyond the pre-qualifying weekend. This is a kit that has been listed as forthcoming from Renaissance pretty much since that test weekend and at last we have the well cast kit parts! It looks like a relatively simple build and there are a few fine etched details to finish off and clearly printed decals. Several colour images of the car at the test are included in the instructions and the paint finish is a simple white affair, so no issues there.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
