This GTO started life in the hands of Equipe Endeavour and, finished in midnight blue, was driven back from Maranello to England by Col. Ronnie Hoare in convoy with Innes Ireland in another similar car. At extremely responsible speeds we’re sure! At the end of 1962 the car crossed the Atlantic and was repainted in the metallic blue of Rosebud Racing. A few years later the car was gifted to a high school in Texas for the students to practice mechanics on! The kit offers four race options, the third placed TT entry of Mike Parks in the original darker colour and then in the metallic shade, Innes Ireland’s entries from Nassau, Daytona and Sebring, the latter with Ginther sharing driving duties. The body details are carefully observed with a seam around the bolt-on rear spoiler and the correct vents at the front end. Whichever version you build should be an accurate model whether you opt to have the doors open or closed.
