Buick Skylark III XP-75 Pininfarina 1959 Cream by Matrix
Originally commissioned from Pininfarina by Buick in 1957, these concepts were displayed for several years and unlike many such machines which remain as pure fantasy, they heavily influenced Buick's 1959 production models. There are subtle detail changes between the cream and silver cars, both of which toured the show circuit together and both of which are beautifully modelled by Matrix. Very attractive subjects.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
