Ferrari 156 1st Austria 1964 Bandini by Looksmart
Having made occasional Grand Prix appearances over the previous few seasons, 1964 saw Lorenzo Bandini race for the full year for Ferrari with mixed success. His best results came in the V6 engined 156 and the high point of his F1 career was in Austria with his only win. For the fast Zeltweg airfield course (shaped like a giant hockey stick) the car was in low drag trim with a small radiator opening in the long nose and a full-length engine cover. The body shape is cleanly modelled and well finished with the decals correctly placed and there’s a modest level of engine detail if we look under the sides at the rear.
