BRM P201 Argentina 1975 Wilds by Modellismo 90
BRM P201 Argentina 1975 Wilds
Alternative version MOD43047 Spain UK MOD43038 France Austria Italy & MOD43049 Belgium Monaco
These well designed kits have the body cast in several parts which allows much more flexibility for different versions, with changes to airboxes and noses only needing small parts recast and also makes detailing of the semi-exposed engine much simpler. Mike Wilds drove the car for the opening two races of the season and photos show it with two different nose designs during the Argentinean weekend and it is the smaller version with top mounted wing that is included in this kit. Bob Evans was in the hot seat for the rest of the season and for the non-Championship International Trophy a new, narrower airbox was used and the car appeared in this form in Spain and later in the year in qualifying for the British GP. For France, Austria and Italy the wide shovel nose made an appearance, while in Belgium and Monaco it was the narrow nose again but with a larger rear wing. For those wishing to build complete grids (we know there are a few out there), a little mixing and matching between these excellent parts may well fill more gaps.

About Modellismo 90
Fairly simple to build, well cast and generally accurate kits with resin bodies, white metal ancillaries and a reasonable level of photo-etched detail. Most subjects are classic F1s but also a handful of rally cars and some transkits. Made in Italy
