BRM P201 UK/France/Germany 1974 #14/15 Pescarolo/Beltoise by Modellismo 90

We, and a lot of collectors, have been looking forward to seeing these kits for quite some time and there are plenty of options here to choose from. The main kit parts consist of excellent resin castings for the main body (with separate nose and airbox), gearbox with wing support attached, rear wing element and the wheels. There are feed tags to remove from these parts but virtually no flash and there is no evidence of any bubbles in our samples. The engine block and a few other smaller parts are in white metal, there are machined shock absorbers with proper springs and then there are several sheets of very fine photo-etch. The instructions are clearly drawn with detail notes written in Italian and English and there are clear drawings for decal placement. The bulk of the kits are in the green and silver Motul livery, though the 1975 car is in the red and blue. In all cases two tone paint finishes will be needed before applying the decals and colours that should be readily available are listed for these. Very effective kits of interesting looking subjects.

About Modellismo 90

Fairly simple to build, well cast and generally accurate kits with resin bodies, white metal ancillaries and a reasonable level of photo-etched detail. Most subjects are classic F1s but also a handful of rally cars and some transkits. Made in Italy
