AC Cobra 427 Australian TT 1965 #4 Miles by Marsh Models

These two very well finished hand builts depict the same car, chassis CSX3002, which is unusual in being the only factory race 427 roadster built. It made its race debut at Riverside in May and in the same configuration appeared at Lakeside in Australia in November, retiring on both occasions. On both models we see an excellent paint finish in Guardsman Blue, with the decals carefully placed and cut into the panel openings before the clear coat was applied. Apart from race numbers there are subtle changes to minor supplier decals for the different races and these are well observed. The single wrap around windscreen is neatly cut and fitted and there is an oil tank filler on the right hand front wing as well as the more normal fuel filler on the rear corner.
