McLaren M1C Can-Am 1967 #51 Bondurant by Marsh Models
Alternative version MM283M11 Motschenbacher MM283M52 Revson MM283M57 Cordts MM283M91 Scott & MM283 Kit
The variants of the M1C here were all privateer cars running Chevrolet engines with crossover carburettor intakes rather than the works down-draft injection. These intakes are neatly detailed and finished off with etched airboxes which look very neat and tidy. The paintwork and general build quality on all the models is up to Marsh’s usual high standards and there’s plenty of colour. The Motschenbacher, Bondurant and Revson cars were all run by Dana Chevrolet, the first of the trio painted white with the other two in orange. John Cordts’ car is dark green and Skip Scott’s a smart light metallic blue.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
