Marsh have done a similarly thorough job with the 1969 Gulf GT40s as they did recently with the 1968 versions and here we see seven cars all finished to a very high standard. The paint finishes are excellent, the tiny etched keeps for the door tops are neatly fitted and colour matched to the orange decals and the decoration is, for the most part, accurately replicated. There are a couple of small decals omitted on the flanks of the Sebring cars (there should be a gulf logo on each door and Firestone above each rear wheel) but otherwise all looks good on the other versions when compared with race photos. The delicate canards on the nose of the Brands Hatch car are neatly fitted and paint matched and overall them make for an impressive set.
