AC Sports Cars In Detail by Book
AC are maybe best known for their Ace and its
derivatives but there were many six-cylinder
sports models which came before, their
overhead camshaft engine first appearing in
1919. The initial company struggled financially
and this lavishly illustrated history picks up
the story from the early 1930s, when the
company had found a new owner, through
to the last Aceca and Greyhound models
in the early 1960s. Along the way there is
plenty of detailed information including much
about the competition exploits of the Ace and
Aceca, with some useful colour photos from
the late 1950s and early 1960s. There are full
production records for the road cars and also
factory race results.
