Chevrolet Corvette C3 Daytona 1968 AIR Team
It’s been a very long time since we last saw a Corvette kit from Arena and a very thought out set of parts it appears to be. The main body, chassis and interior tub are resin and will need just a little light clean up before priming and painting. The seats are also resin, as are the tyres and the bulk of the smaller parts are white metal, with machined wheel rims and, as usual from this maker, plenty of very fine photo-etch for the smallest details. The decals are clearly printed and include all of the white striping and tail panel and offer the choice of either car entered by Jim Garner’s American International Racing Team.

About Arena
Accurate, well detailed resin kits with white metal ancillaries and excellent photo-etched details. Instructions sometimes slightly vague but normally adequate. Castings on some subjects can be a little rough but more recent releases have all been excellent. Due to the amount of etch, they can be quite fiddly to build but in experienced hands make excellent miniatures. Hand built models also available to order. Made in Italy.
